First Look at the Photos of the Mercedes-Maybach Pullman

Two Mercedes Pullmans from different eras.

Rolls-Royce is dismissing it, but there’s no denying that their competition is coming. Mercedes-Benz just unveiled a car worthy of going head-to-head with greats such as the British ultra-luxury brand in the form of the Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman.

The Mercedes-Maybach Pullman is the best that the S-Class has to offer. It’s opulence exceeds even the recently-released Mercedes-Maybach S600.

The Pullman has all the styling and comfort elements of the Mercedes-Maybach S600, but it is further stretched to accommodate more passengers. Its roof has also been raised by 100 mm compared to the standard S-Class. The added space allows the rear section of the limo to hold up to four passengers in its lounge-like and face-to-face executive seats.

Earlier estimation of the engine specs of the Pullman proved to be true. Mercedes used a powerful 6.0-liter V12 biturbo power unit to enable the super S-Class to drag along its extra weight. The output of the engine is at 523 hp and 830 Nm of torque.

The Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman will make its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show this month of March. The price tag of the car is expected to fetch around €500,000.

Then, since the targeted customers of the Pullman are head of states, royalties, and other high-level personalities, it will have an armored version too. The said variant should be available for customers who can dish out around €1,000,000.
