DaimlerChrysler announced today the 2006 winners of its fourth-annual “Global Supplier Award.” Company officials recognized the award recipients Wednesday evening. Of course it is not a significant even for any manufacturer, but it is nice to see that they apprieciate the companies that help them build quality and reliable (yes they are more reliable now) cars.
Here are the winners:
- Mitsubishi Electrical Corporation, Japan (Electrical/Electronics);
- Seton Company, U.S.A. (Interior);
- REHAU, Germany (Exterior);
- Cooper-Standard Automotive, U.S.A. (Powertrain);
- Kuka Schweissanlagen Group, Germany (Production Equipment and Services);
- Mediterranean Shipping Company, Switzerland (Logistics).
I can definitely see some familiar name on the list, but I wonder where Bosch is, I mean they have been suppling Mercedes for decades, and their products are usually on of the best.
