Restoring an old car to its former glory is no easy task, especially when it is already nearly 50 years old. Mercedes-Benz 300SL R107 Refined by the SL Shop

The rectangular, coffin-shaped Mercedes-Benz 300SL R107 received mixed reviews over the years. It was left out when the more refined and powerful R129 model was released. However, there is a dedicated tuner that caters to all the R107 in England called the “SL Shop.” It sells genuine components for the car too much like Adsitco.com for Mercedes Parts. One of the Mercedes SL cars that received the tuning and body package of SL Shop is what you are about to see in the video below. They call it the Mercedes-Benz 300SL SportLine. In a nutshell, everything from the body styling and interior down to the engine of the auto was tinkered. The… Continue Reading »

Hear The Carlsson-Tuned Mercedes-Benz SLK 340 Roar

The sound of the engine of a sports car speeding along a track is music to the ears of many vehicle enthusiasts. Wife Reunited With Mercedes SL for Mother’s Day

Everyone remembers their first car fondly, even if it was an old piece of junk or rust-bucket that you could barely afford. Once you’ve outgrown your first car, though, there is always your ‘first love’—the car that you scraped and scrimped and begged and borrowed to get your hands on, that you polished and kept as perfectly clean as possible, while swearing you’d never trade it in for another car. For one wife and mother, that car was a bright red 1985 Mercedes SL coupe. A Love Story in the Making When Julio Sanchez met his wife in the 1990s, one of the first things he noticed was the car… Continue Reading »
