The rectangular, coffin-shaped Mercedes-Benz 300SL R107 received mixed reviews over the years. It was left out when the more refined and powerful R129 model was released. However, there is a dedicated tuner that caters to all the R107 in England called the “SL Shop.” It sells genuine components for the car too much like Adsitco.com for Mercedes Parts. The sound of the engine of a sports car speeding along a track is music to the ears of many vehicle enthusiasts. A video was posted recently demonstrating the brutal sound coming out of the 3.4-liter naturally-aspirated engine of the Carlsson-tuned Mercedes-Benz SLK 340, as shown on a report from autoevolution.com. Fifth-Gen Mercedes-Benz SL Gets a Retro Facelift

Zolland Design, famous for putting a retro kit on the Porsche 911, recently came up with another ambitious project using the fifth generation of the Mercedes-Benz SL. Weeks ago, the company revealed a computer rendered version of the SL. However, as seen in the pictures here, the resulting product carried on the look of the classic Pagoda version of the SL. Designated as the W113 SL, the car was produced around 1963 and 1971. According to a source, the retro fifth-gen Mercedes-Benz SL was commissioned by a customer in Poland.
