Numerous spy images of the Mercedes-Benz V-Class have emerged in recent weeks. In fact a teaser and official images of the interior cabin of the vehicle were also released on the internet. Following these revelations, it appears that the upcoming vehicle is set to be released within one-week’s time, as indicated in a report from autoevolution.com. A report from worldcarfans.com indicated that a Mercedes-Benz V-Class prototype was spotted recently in Guadalajara, Spain. A reader of the website sent close-up images showing the upcoming vehicle sporting light camouflage. The reader spotted the vehicle at night as it was parked at a Guadalajara mall. The reader took a number of exterior images of the soon-to-be-unveiled vehicle offering of Mercedes-Benz. The images provided by the reader also included the interior cabin of the vehicle. The chic interior of the vehicle indicates that it is more focused on the passenger compared to the current model of the Mercedes-Benz Viano. Mercedes-Benz Provides 11 Actros Trucks to Help in Relief Efforts for Syrian Refugees

The Syria crisis may be coming to an end, but there is still the issue of the thousands of refugees that fled the country. In order to help out, Mercedes-Benz is working with Wings of Help to provide aid for the refugees in Southern Turkey. The German automaker has committed 11 Actros semitrailer trucks to the relief efforts, dubbed as Convoy of Hope — Wings on Wheels. The convoy will be responsible for the transport of relief supplies amounting to an estimated €4 million (around $5.42 million) from the Frankfurt Motor Show location all the way to the Gaziantep near the Syria-Turkey border.   Design sketches of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz Viano were reportedly obtained directly from Daimler by a German-based Mercedes-Benz blog. The emergence of the sketches followed the spotting of the vehicle in camouflage recently. The two design sketches show the interior and exterior design of the vehicle that is set to be released next year. The rendering reflects a number of spy shots of the vehicle that were taken earlier. 620 Mercedes-Benz Vans Ordered by Avis Budget Group

The Avis Budget Group, a car rental company in Southern Europe, has just placed an order for a whopping 620 Mercedes-Benz Vans, which include orders for Vito, Viano, and Sprinter models. The breakdown involves 335 units going to Avis’ operations in Spain, 250 to Italy, and 35 to Portugal. “We will deploy our new rental vehicles from Mercedes-Benz Vans at the most important locations in Southern Europe – in particular at airports and large cities,” said Ramon Biarnes, who heads the Avis Budget Group’s Sales and Marketing in the three aforementioned countries. “The high standard of comfort and reliability of the vans from Mercedes-Benz testifies to our performance orientation at Avis.”… Continue Reading »
