Smart Fortwo Coupe Available in Soft Top Starting September

Starting September this year, the smart fortwo coupe will be offered with a solid roof frame with black fabric covering as a standard fit. The special roofing will be made available with the 2016 models of the compact coupe, according to Daimler. For the Brabus and Brabus Xclusive lineups of the car, the special roof comes as a no-cost option if the buyer chooses it over the standard panoramic roof with sun protection. Roland Keppler, the CEO of the company, stated that the performance of car2go in the southern metropolis has exceeded expectations. The recognition was given by the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEE). Daimler’s ride-sharing service car2go is suspending its service in Miami effective March 1, citing ‘soft demand’ in the area. That is despite some 32,000 individuals who have signed up for the service, which is backed by 300 smart vehicles for the Miami fleet.
