Another teaser image for the C-Class Cabriolet was released by Mercedes-Benz on its official Facebook page recently, as shown on a report from worldcarfans.com. However, another member of the C-Class family stood out on the teaser image released by the company, the Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe.
While a number of teasers for the C-Class Cabriolet have emerged recently prior to its launch during the motor show in Geneva, the latest image showed the C43 Coupe, which caught the attention of industry watchers. The C43 Coupe is expected to be promoted in a niche right under the C63 Coupe.
The C43 Coupe would have been called the Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG Sport Sedan before the integration of the AMG Sports models into the Mercedes-AMG range of vehicles. Due to this, the C450 AMG Sports Sedan will soon be called the Mercedes-AMG C43. The coupe and sedan will feature a 3.0-liter twin turbo V6 engine offering 362 HP of power and torque of 384 lb-ft.
The C43 Coupe will feature the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system that is connected to a seven-speed automatic transmission. It is expected to be somewhat faster compared to the sedan model, which can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph or 0 to 96 km/h within 4.8 seconds. Due to this, the C43 Coupe may have an acceleration of 4.7 seconds.
The Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe and the C-Class Cabriolet are expected to be launched at the Geneva Motor Show on March 1. But, it is expected to be unveiled online before the end of the month. The cabriolet is also expected to feature a C43 variant soon before a C63 variant is unveiled.
