This Mercedes-Benz A-Class Dazzles in Rose Gold Metallic

Giancarlo Perlas July 15, 2022

Gold paint on a car is a hit-or-miss deal because it sometimes works and oftentimes it doesn’t. A rose gold metallic seems to blend well with the Mercedes-Benz A-Class though.

Shot by “SR Creativity // People- & Carphotography” and featured on the Mercedes-Benz social media account on Facebook, the rose gold metallic paint certainly made its mark with the A-Class. It also complemented the optional AMG Line package fitted in the car, which features AMG body styling, 18-inch five-spoke wheels, chrome diamond-block grille, and lowered suspension. Although not shown in the images, the package provides sports front seats, sports steering wheel, aluminum shift paddles, stainless steel pedals, and AMG floor mats to the auto, too.

Gold when used on a car can really add a sense of opulence into it as the color is often associated with wealth and success. There’s a sense of exclusivity in it as well because of the rarity of the precious metal it represents. As seen here, the color appears to seamlessly add more appeal to the A-Class.

The A-Class is only available on US soil in its sedan guise with two trims to choose from: the A220 front-wheel drive and the A220 4MATIC all-wheel drive. Both are equipped with the same 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine capable of 188 hp and 221 lb-ft of torque, which is good for a 0 to 60 mph run in just 7.1 seconds.

If the latest reports are to be believed, it looks like the years of the A-Class are numbered as Mercedes is looking to ax the range in 2025 to focus more on its electrification goals.
