Brabus Tunes Mercedes-AMG C63
Peter Parcon February 27, 2016Brabus is famous for enhancing the power output of the vehicles from Mercedes-Benz. The latest subject of the renowned tuner is the Mercedes-AMG C63 S, which will be introduced during the Geneva Motor Show, as shown on a report from worldcarfans.com.
The C63 S was given a carbon fiber body kit featuring a front spoiler, new diffuser and a rear spoiler installed on the trunk. The Brabus-tuned C63 S also comes with carbon fiber front fender vents, mirror caps and air intake surrounds. The new stainless steel sports exhaust system of the C63 S features butterfly valves that enhance its engine noise up to a point it can be heard a number of miles away. The sound is also comparable to a toned down sports car.
The Brabus-tuned Mercedes-AMG C63 S also comes with a new height-adjustable coilover suspension system along with 20-inch alloy wheels shoed in a selection of Yokohama, Pirelli or Continental tires.
While the interior cabin of the C63 S of Brabus can rival the interior of a Rolls-Royce, it evokes a sporty appearance. Nearly all surfaces in the interior, including the sports seat, steering wheel rim and the dashboard, are covered with premium leather and Alcantara featuring unique anti-slip properties. Yellow accents provide contrast to the leather and Alcantara interior of the luxury vehicle.
Carbon fiber material is also used on the center console, door panels and the instrument panel of the Brabus-tuned C63 S. Completing the look of the interior are the illuminated door sills, unique floor mats, aluminum paddle shifter and alloy pedals.
The C63 S of Brabus features a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that was given new turbochargers along with an enhanced ECU. These modifications have increased the power output of the engine to 641 HP while its torque is at 604 lb-ft. This allows the Brabus-tuned Mercedes-AMG C63 S to accelerate from 0 to 63 mph within 3.9 seconds and before it reaches its maximum speed of 200 mph.
