After the release of the 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class photos, automotive artist X-Tomi Design immediately went to work on the rendering of the Mercedes-AMG E63.

Compared to the standard E-Class, the visual changes given by the studio to the E63 concept were mild but it sure made the car stand out more. The grille was modified as well as the front bumper, lip spoiler, side skirts, fenders and tires. The roofing appears to be darkened also. Although the back is not shown in the photo, we can safely assume that the diffuser and the rear bumper has undergone changes too, as it has been the practice of AMG.

The car in the rendering was finished in a glossy ocean blue while receiving chrome highlights in the grille, black mesh in the bumper, black lining in the skirts and window panels, plus light alloy wheels.

The carbon fiber inserts are expected to drop the weight of the E63 significantly compared to its current model. Add to that the lighter platform used by the car, which is the MRA architecture present in the C-Class and GLC.

So far, the engine specs of the next E63 are not yet out. Based on numerous sources though like Motor Authority, it will possibly carry AMG’s new 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine. That will allow the car to produce more or less 550 hp. The E63 S will get the same power unit but the output will likely be around 600 hp.
