The Mercedes-Benz GLC was only unveiled last June 17. The debut of the new SUV was held at a special event organized by its maker in Stuttgart, Germany. Almost immediately after the release of its official photos, one artist redesigned some images of the vehicle to come up with a rendering of its performance model.

The photos here show an artist’s concept of the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63. This was done and shared to us by Raziz Roken Rehan (Rokenr) through his Instagram account. It should be noted that he was the one who also provided us the detailed rendering of the Mercedes-AMG GT long before it made its official debut.

The photos shared to us shows the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 with a revised fascia that include new front lip spoiler, updated mesh in the front bumper, and single grille. It also features extended side skirts, new diffuser, and quadruple tailpipes. Lastly, it is fitted with rims found on the Mercedes-AMG C63 and Mercedes-AMG GT, according to the artist in one of his comments.

Based on reports, the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 will carry the same engine found on the 2015 Mercedes-AMG C63 and the AMG-GT. So it will benefit from the M178 engine of the performance division of Mercedes, which is a 4.0-liter biturbo V8. It is configured to deliver up to 469 hp with 443 lb-ft of torque. A more powerful GLC C63 S will most likely hit the market too with 503 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque similar to the Mercedes-AMG GT S.
