Carlsson Mercedes GLA Tuning Package Announced

It hasn’t been long since the Mercedes-Benz GLA made its debut. However, tuning firms are already racing to come up with their own body kits for the crossover of the three-pointed star brand. Not long after Brabus announced its tuning kit for the Mercedes GLA, Carlsson also revealed to the public its kit for the vehicle so as not to be outdone.
According to Motorward, the Carlsson Mercedes GLA tuning kit gives the crossover upgrades touching the exterior all the way to its interior. The engine is not spared by the modifications too. It should be noted though that the package is only available for the AMG Sport models of the vehicle.
On the outside, the tuner offers a couple of aerodynamic and visual enhancements to the auto. Among them are stainless steel grille, side skirts, rear apron with diffuser inserts, quadruple tailpipes, spoiler lip, plus 18 and 20 inches alloy wheels. Buyers can opt for the 21-inch Ultra Light wheels too with 265/30 R21 tires.
Inside, the cabin of the crossover is adorned by high-end leather, scuff plates, aluminum door lock pins, pedal covers, floor mats, and side panels. Of course, the skins of some of the add-ons in the interior come with Carlsson badges.
Lastly, a peek under the hood would reveal an engine boosted to increase the output of the Carlsson Mercedes GLA. The GLA 200 variant’s output is raised to 187 hp and 300 Nm of torque using the package. On the other hand, the GLA 250 variant receives up to 253 hp and 420 Nm of torque.
So far, no pricing details have been announced for the Carlsson Mercedes GLA kit yet.
