A visit to a Mercedes-AMG Performance Center is considered to be a field day for every car enthusiast, automotive journalist, and car blogger. This is exactly what one writer in China Car News had recently.

One of the Mercedes-AMG Performance Centers in China is located in Shanghai near the People’s Park. The establishment also doubles as a dealership specializing in the sale of AMG variants. Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 507

The first to attract his attention was the shiny black Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 507. Among the things offered by this special edition of the C63 AMG are short suspension, titanium five twin-spoke wheels, and signature AMG embroidered leather at the interior. The icing on this one can be found under the hood. Its 6.2-liter V8 engine pops out 507 hp and 610 Nm of torque. It has a top speed of 280 km/h, and its zero to 100 km/h sprint can be accomplished in only 4.2 seconds. The price tag of this one is around 1.15 million yuan or roughly $187,000.

Its top speed can go up to 300 km/h, and its run from a standstill to 100 km/h is only 4.5 seconds. The starting price of this unit is at 2.5 million yuan or $407,000.

Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG

Last but not least is the classic and iconic incarnation of the G-Class in its AMG form. According to the report, this is among the best-sellers in the area. The 537 hp and 760 Nm torque power of the vehicle comes from its 5.5-liter turbocharged V8 engine. Then, its top speed is at 210 km/h with a sprint from zero to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds. The price of this is 2.3 million yuan or $375,000.
