Photos Of Actual 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Emerge
Peter Parcon December 26, 2013The new 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class or the W205 model was spotted recently prior to its official public launch during the North American International Auto Show that is set to be held in Detroit in January. Photos of the latest vehicle offering of the luxury vehicle manufacturer were also posted on the internet.
According to worldofcarfans.com, the latest model of the C-Class was seen by a reader of Mercedes-Benz Passion Blog. The person who took the photos also indicated that the vehicle was a part of the AMG line. However, this particular model of the latest vehicle offering of the luxury car manufacturer featured regular halogen headlights and did not have any LED taillights.
It appeared that this vehicle was a demo car that came with a number of AMG features. The photos give Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts a good view of the interior cabin of the vehicle. It also shows the free-standing COMAND display of the latest model of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The COMAND display was met with controversy when it was initially revealed.
The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class will be officially unveiled by Mercedes-Benz during the NAIAS in Detroit. The vehicle will be initially released in three engine variants. This includes the four-cylinder 2.2-liter in the Mercedes-Benz C220 BlueTEC offering 170HP or 125kW, four-cylinder 1.6-liter in the Mercedes-Benz C180 offering 156HP or 115kW, and four-cylinder 2.0-liter in the Mercedes-Benz C200 offering 184HP or 135kW.
A number of other engine variants will eventually be offered before the end of 2015. This will include the latest variant of the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG. The C63 AMG will feature a four-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that offers a power output of 499HP or 367kW. Prior to this, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class will see the introduction of five variants of four-cylinder gasoline engines, 1.6-liter and 2.2-liter diesel engines, and a hybrid model.
