Images Of Scale Model Of New Mercedes-Benz S-Class Emerge

A week before the latest Mercedes-Benz S-Class will be launched by the luxury car manufacturer, scale model images of the vehicle emerged recently.

The model was created at a 1:18 scale and provides a preview of the upcoming luxury saloon. The new “W222” S-Class is reportedly an elegant vehicle that may fill in for the MayBach. It features a long-wheelbase that is expected to set the standard in its category.

The upcoming Mercedes-Benz S-Class will be promoted in the same category as the Bentley Mulsanne and Rolls-Royce Ghost. A coupe is also set to take the place of the CL while a cabriolet will soon become the definition of an open-top luxury vehicle.

The interior of the S-Class will offer the best technology available in the market. A pair of 12.3-inch TFT display screens will act as the instrument panel of the vehicle, which will also feature a Thermotronic climate control feature that filters spores and viruses through an ionizing component. It will also feature 1540w Burmester stereo and reclining seats.

The engine range of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class will offer the S250 CDI in the British market. This 2.1-liter diesel engine offers 201 bhp along with 369 lb-ft of torque. In addition to this engine, the upcoming luxury vehicle will also be available in V6 and V8 variants along with AMG performance variants.
