Brooklyn Campervans, based in Brooklyn, New York, isn’t your average van-building company. They’re known for creating awesome campers mostly based on the Mercedes Sprinter that mixes top-notch work with simple, sleek designs. They’ve built over 35 units that have been test-driven more than 20,000 miles to make sure everything in their vehicles works perfectly.
Their newest project is a camper van built from a Mercedes Sprinter with an all-wheel-drive system. It’s ready for any adventure with a special suspension system, tough wheels, and tires made for all kinds of terrain. The vehicle also has cool features like electrically operated steps, a strong front bumper, and a place to carry a bike. The coolest part of it is a pop-up roof, providing extra sleeping space or cargo area when needed.
The Interior Design
When you open the door, there’s a counter right there with plugs, a pull-out table, and a small storage spot. Inside, the van looks really neat and tidy with its white and wood design, which is a signature interior theme for Brooklyn Campervans, while the floor is made from fancy Hickory vinyl for a touch of luxury.
A special wall with a sliding door separates the driving area from where you live in the van. This was a special request from the customer for extra privacy. Above the door, there’s a big space for storing more stuff.
Let’s talk about the pop-up roof. Up there, there’s a big bed, screens to keep bugs out, lights, and the fan keeps the air fresh. There’s a heater that keeps the tent warm, too.
Next, there’s a lot of extra storage space offered by a big countertop, huge drawers, and cabinets. Then there’s the bathroom with a shower, a toilet, and a clothesline. The nice thing about the bathroom is the wall with a plant design.
The kitchen has lots of counter space, a stove with two burners, a small fridge, and lots of cabinets and drawers. The cabinets have special handles that make everything look organized. There’s also a control panel for the heating system and the electrical system.
The living area turns into a bedroom. During the day, there are two big benches and a table. When it’s time to sleep, the table goes down and the cushions rearrange to make a bed.
Other awesome features include a safety camera system, air conditioning, and lots of storage, even under the bed and in the back doors.
At the back of the van, there are more systems like a big water tank, a pump, an outdoor shower, and a water heater. The electrical system has a big battery, parts for an internet connection, and an antenna. The batteries can be charged in different ways, including solar panels on the roof.
