Amidst a captivating atmosphere at the Awakening Theater in Wynn Las Vegas, bidders engaged in intense competition, ultimately driving the sale to a whopping $18,815,000.

This iconic vehicle, the first to carry Lewis Hamilton to victory for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas team, now stands as a testament to the high interest of collectors in Formula One history.

A Symphony of Auction Success: Highlights Beyond Formula One

The auction, hosted in collaboration with Wynn Las Vegas, showcased an 87% sell-through rate, underlining the meticulous curation of high-quality offerings. Among the other notable sales was the 2002 Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR Roadster, a rare open-top iteration of the iconic homologation special from the late-1990s FIA GT Championships.
