Here’s What You Will Find Inside the Mercedes-Benz EQC

The Mercedes-Benz EQC is the first ever unit to come out from the all-new EQ brand. The full electric-powered sport utility vehicle will make its debut on September 4, 2018, in Stockholm, Germany. Recently, its maker released another teaser video of the auto. This time, it features the driver’s side and interior console of the vehicle.

Just like the earlier videos, the new teaser only gives us a glimpse of the EQC, particularly its interior. From the looks of it, the crossover has the advanced technology that premiered with the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class. One of them is the MBUX infotainment system.

Basically, the MBUX or Mercedes-Benz User Experience carries an intuitive and intelligent function. It can be likened to the features of Siri and Alexa that is capable of processing various commands using voice control.

The EQC also gets two giant screens covered in a single glass pane that runs from the driver’s side to the center console. It bears the cascading dashboard shape that the latest Mercedes vehicles have too.

So far, only tidbits of information were officially given by Mercedes regarding their upcoming product. However, we won’t have to wait long because it will be unveiled in a couple of days.

Compared to its concept form, the production version of the EQC adopted several changes for practicality’s sake. Check out our comparison of the Mercedes-Benz EQC concept and what we currently know about its market-ready variant here.

It remains to be seen if the new EQC will keep the concept’s promised 402 hp combined output coming from its electric motors as well as the 250 miles range of its battery at full charge. Insiders say that it might surpass the numbers with figures going up to 430 hp and 310 miles.

Stay tuned for more updates on the new Mercedes-Benz EQC!
