The hardworking spies of WCF have done it again. Thanks to their ninja-like skills with the camera, we were able to get a glimpse of the facelifted 2015 Mercedes ML63 AMG.
Other spy photos of the 2015 Mercedes ML63 that have been circulating online featured a heavily-camouflaged unit with usual white and black stripes and swirls. However, this new batch of photos had the vehicle’s side and rear camo stripped down, which gives us a full view of its design. The front portion is still covered in gray wrapping though, hiding the auto’s grille, logo, bumper and headlights.
Looking at the photo, the changes in the design look to be minimal, although we can’t say the same yet on the covered areas. However, according to WCF, the revealed parts are still subject to more tweaking. That means, the character lines, taillights, bumpers, headlights, and grille might get some significant changes later.
There is also a possibility that the new 2015 Mercedes ML63 AMG will still carry the things under the hood of its predecessor. So, expect to see the same V8 engine with an output of 386 kW and 516 lb-ft of torque, which can be optimized by the optional AMG Performance Package to give off up to 410 kW and 560 lb-ft of torque.
With the mentioned specs, the sprint of the standard version from zero to 96 kmph may remain at 4.7 seconds with an electronically-limited speed of 250 kmph. On the other hand, the modified model might have a sprint that is 0.1 second faster than the former and an electrically-capped speed of around 280 kmph.
