The eighth edition of the Schloss Dyck Classic Days is set to be held in Rhineland from August 1 to 4, 2013. The main official sponsor of the event is Mercedes-Benz. The company is displaying a number of generations of its S-Class vehicles, which are presented by renowned individuals in the motorsport world.
The vehicles are part of the Mercedes-Benz Classic collection, which shows the timeline of the S-Class. It also emphasizes the achievements of the vehicle in motorsports. The Mercedes-Benz 220, which took part in the 1956 Mille Miglia, will be among the vehicles exhibited in the show. The Mercedes-Benz 200 SEL 6.8, which topped its class in a 1971 24-hour race in Spa Belgium, is set to appear in the show.
Ewy Baronin von Korff-Rosqvist, who used a Mercedes-Benz 220 SE in topping the Argentinian Road Grand Prix in 1962, will be among the notable motorsports personalities who will grace the event. Other notable personalities who will present the classic cars are Hans Hermann and Dieter Glemser.
The Schloss Dyck Classic Days is expected to attract members of different Mercedes-Benz clubs in Germany. The Club Management of Mercedes-Benz Classic is set to hoist the 250 members of these clubs.
