The “transport logistic” 2013 fair, to be held in Munich from June 4 through 7, promises to feature a comprehensive service stop for people and entities looking for Daimler and Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles. Representing the brands will be a ‘service quartet with star appeal’ featuring Daimler FleetBoard, Mercedes-Benz Bank, Mercedes-Benz CharterWay, and Mercedes-Benz Global Service & Parts.
With the all-in-one portfolio, there’s no competitor that can offer such a complete package. Aside from featuring all those service areas, they are also closely interlinked for convenience and extra coordination.
Mercedes-Benz Bank is the financial services provider, while CharterWay offers a rental fleet along with its all-inclusive service. Daimler FleetBoard, on the other hand, is responsible for telematics, using its sustem to boost the IT and logistics processes of its customers. Mercedes-Benz Global Service & Parts is all about support, providing services revolving on breakdown assistance, maintenance, mobility, and service.
“All the services relating to all aspects of our trucks and vans are an important field of business for Daimler,” said Mercedes-Benz Trucks Sales and Marketing chief Ulrich Bastert. “For one simple reason: they are important to our customers.”
