2025 Mercedes G-Class Gets A Vintage Look From Carlex Design

  • Carlex Design elevated the look of the 2025 Mercedes-Benz G-Class with its new vintage body package.

Up to its current model, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class has defined itself with its iconic look. Over the years, the luxury SUV has retained its original boxy form while infusing itself with the best automotive innovations of our time.

Carlex Design, in its goal to make the new G-Class stand out more, has fitted the vehicle with a new vintage look. Its new Carlex Vintage body package takes inspiration from the distinct design of high-end SUVs between the 1980s and the 1990s.

Vintage Mercedes G-Class Exterior

On the outside, Carlex infused the 2025 G-Class with classic and glossy sand-colored paint. This reflected the build’s “Sabia” (Italian for sand) theme. Meanwhile, the chrome styling helped accentuate the auto’s redesigned front grille side, mirror caps, wiper blades, window panels, body liner, signal light housing, and bumpers.

The G-Class also benefited from a three-pointed star retro-inspired standing hood emblem. In addition, the tuner equipped the vehicle with classic fender flares and forged wheels with metal caps.

Sand-Themed Interior

Going inside, Carlex extended the sandy look with a touch of vanilla in the G-Class upholstery. This came with two-tone Nappa leather covers with hand-made special quilting, Alcantara headliner, and walnut wood lining with white grout on the cargo bay.

Moreover, the Mercedes specialist improved the entry and exit points of the iconic SUV. This is for ease of access for the driver and passengers.

Higher Ride Height

Carlex’s ride height adjustment for the G-Class complemented these. The tuner notably raised the clearance of the auto by four inches (10 cm). Furthermore, it expanded its width by four inches for a more muscular look.

Supported Mercedes G-Class Models

According to Carlex, the new vintage build is compatible with all facelifted variants of the model. It includes the regular Benz models up to the G 550 and the almighty Mercedes-AMG G 63.
