Road Show International Unveils The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class RS Edition
Giancarlo Perlas July 15, 2023Renowned car tuner, Road Show International, has taken the already ultra-luxurious Mercedes-Maybach S-Class by Virgil Abloh to new heights with its latest creation, the “RS Edition.” Offering a range of enhancements and exclusive features, this limited-edition upgrade is designed for the discerning few who crave an even more refined driving experience.
Redefining Luxury
Based on the Instagram post of Road Show International, the “RS Edition” presents a host of enticing options for the fortunate owners of the Maybach S680 Virgil Abloh Edition. It starts with stunning 22-inch bronze-finished alloys, perfectly complementing the sedan’s exquisite two-tone paintwork.
Additionally, the suspension has been lowered by up to 0.8 inches, ensuring an even smoother and more controlled ride.
Exclusivity Meets Elegance
Adding to the allure of the “RS Edition” are unique features that exude luxury. An illuminated Maybach logo adorns the trunk lid, catching the eye with its sophisticated glow.
Tinted windows have been installed, providing privacy and shielding the opulent rear cabin from prying eyes, allowing occupants to revel in their own private sanctuary.
Uncompromised Performance
While the “RS Edition” offers lavish enhancements, the powertrain remains unaltered. Utilizing the formidable 6.0L V12 engine found in the base model, the Maybach S680 produces an awe-inspiring 621 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque.
These impressive figures enable the vehicle to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 3 seconds while boasting a top speed of 155 mph.
Exclusivity Limited to a Select Few
The “RS Edition” upgrades are a privilege reserved for only 150 owners of the Maybach S680 by Abloh. Each of these fortunate individuals has invested over $500,000 (excluding local taxes) to own this remarkable bespoke sedan, ensuring exclusivity and rarity on the roads.
Inspired by a Legendary Collaboration
The inspiration behind the limited-edition S-Class by Virgil Abloh stems from a collaborative effort between the visionary designer and Mercedes. The Project Maybach electric show car, created before Abloh’s untimely passing in November 2021, served as the foundation for this unique partnership.
The result is a harmonious blend of luxury, innovation, and artistic expression.
