2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV Starts At $47,100 In The US

The new Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV is gearing up to offer a fresh exterior design, updated interior elements, systematically electrified engine, and innovative technologies for its 2023 model year series. The revamped range includes the likes of the GLC 300 SUV and GLC 300 4MATIC SUV for its Benz lineup. Both are available in two trim levels for the U.S. market, namely the Exclusive and Pinnacle.

The exterior of the new GLC features redesigned LED headlamps linked to the revised front grille. It also possesses cleaner and smoother surfaces for its body, which are accentuated by subtle lines on the hood and the sides. Meanwhile, adding the optional AMG Line package provides an even livelier aesthetic for the auto showcasing a more muscular appeal.

Getting into the cockpit, drivers and passengers of the new GLC are greeted with a plethora of updated and sporty interior upholstery and equipment. These are highlighted by a 12.3-inch floating digital instrument panel and an 11.9-inch central touchscreen that’s slightly angled towards the driver.

In addition, the more advanced version of the MBUX infotainment system makes it easy to control all comfort, navigational, and driving assistance operations of the vehicle. The new “Transparent Hood” tech found on the new GLE finds its way to the GLC, too. The interior can be had in 13 custom trim elements, including MB-Tex, leather, and Nappa leather, as well as a number of new trims.

The GLC SUV is propelled by a more powerful turbocharged four-cylinder engine partnered with the second-generation integrated starter generator (ISG) of Mercedes as well as a 48-volt mild hybrid system. The configuration produces a total of 255 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. On the other hand, the 48-volt mild hybrid system provides an extra boost of up to 23 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque upon demand.

According to MBUSA, the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV will arrive in U.S. dealerships in spring this year with a price tag starting at $47,100, plus a $1,150 destination charge.
