Look at This Exotic Mercedes-AMG GT Night Edition
Giancarlo Perlas May 30, 2021What happens when you add a darker flavor to the exterior of the Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe? You get a more exotic vibe from the sports car bearing the three-pointed star symbol.
This is just the kind of aura that emanates from the Mercedes-AMG GT Night Edition. The car is offered in Obsidian Black, Selenite Grey, or Graphite Grey Magno paint finish. It also carries blacked-out chrome vertical slats for its Panamericana grille, carbon fiber roof, tinted headlamps, and forged wheels measuring 19 to 20 inches partnered to a pair of black brake calipers.
The interior of the AMG GT Night Edition is as mysterious as its exterior thanks to its black Nappa leather with diamond patterns, Dinamica microfiber-clad steering wheel and headliner, piano lacquer strips, and tinted rear windows.
Amplifying the auto’s comfort features is a 10-speaker Burmester sound system, dual-zone climate control, heated and electronically adjustable seats with memory function, and an AMG instrument cluster. Meanwhile, the driver and passenger’s safety is secured by the car’s Active Brake Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Pre-Safe and reversing camera, and eight airbags.
The AMG GT is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 523 hp and 494 lb-ft of torque managed by a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The setup launches the vehicle from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.8 seconds.
Sadly, the Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe Night Edition is only exclusive in Australia. Only 15 samples of it will be made for the Aussie market this year with a price tag of AU$294,200 ($228,132) each.
