Escape the Urban Jungle with Hartmann’s Mercedes-Benz V-Class GeoTrek

If you want to make the most out of social distancing amid the health crisis brought about by the Coronavirus pandemic, you might want to check out the new compact camper van that Hartmann’s VanSports launched based on the Mercedes-Benz V-Class.

Called the GeoTrek Edition, Hartmann’s VanSports equipped the V-Class with its VP Gravity body kit that comes with black plastic accessories for the bumpers, running boards, and front grille. The package also offers a rear diffuser as well as a custom rack with LED bars featuring a photovoltaic system. Then these are topped off with 18-inch wheels wrapped in 235/55 tires that provide additional 1.2-inch ground clearance for the auto and complemented by underbody protection with special paintwork.

Meanwhile, the interior of the Sprinter has been completely overhauled to provide the basic needs for outdoor adventuring. It includes foldable rear seats that transform into a bed for two, aluminum storage boxes under the bed, and a kitchen box for small meals. Moreover, the van offers an onboard 12-volt power supply, freshwater and wastewater storage with a 3.2-gallon capacity each, and an HVAC system to manage the temperature within the vehicle.

The featured sample of the project in the photos is the Extra Long V250d series of the V-Class range. Standard in the trim is a 2.1-liter diesel engine that produces 187 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque. The power unit is partnered with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Hartmann’s VanSports said that the Mercedes-Benz V-Class GeoTrek Edition will only be limited to 10 units. Buyers will have to contact the company directly for the pricing of the customized V-Class.
