Hofele Design Puts an Extra Touch of Luxury to the Mercedes-Benz GLE

Giancarlo Perlas June 28, 2020

With the Mercedes-Maybach branding only extending to the GLS in the sport utility vehicle category of the three-pointed star marque, Hofele Design just released its take on how the ultra-luxurious version of the Mercedes-Benz GLE should be.

The new project of Hofele based on the GLE is called the “Ultimate HGLE”. The package is compatible with the 300d up to the 63 models of the range. The video and the photos give us a glimpse of how the upgrade looks like in the 450 model of the GLE.

The new Hofele kit only touches the aesthetics of the GLE, so those who are looking for performance upgrades in the SUV should turn to the likes of Brabus for the extra oomph.

The exterior of the HGLE is highlighted by its two-tone paint in Obsidian Black and Tiffany Gold. Then, the fascia of the SUV features a radiator grille with vertical slats similar to the Panamericana grille design of AMG units and the logo of Hofele. Meanwhile, the 23-inch wheels come in forged alloy with a jet-turbine-inspired look and light gold finish. The chrome further extends to the other parts of the auto such as the front bumper, hood lining, roof rails, window panels, and quadruple exhaust tips.

Going inside reveals an upholstery wrapped in Nappa leather and Alcantara. The rear seats are also separated by a center console and fitted with headrest pillows for added comfort. The same two-tone theme is applied in the interior with gold accents and Hofele badges. Even the luggage compartment is upgraded by the Mercedes specialist with high-gloss wooden floor and aluminum highlights.
