First Edition Marco Polo Horizon Debuts This Month

According to Daimler, the Marco Polo Horizon, marketed under the Mercedes-Benz Vans division, will have its world debut at the Caravan Salon Dusseldorf. The event will be held on August 26, 2017 and it will run until September 3, 2017.
Currently the available camper vans of Mercedes include the standard Marco Polo and the Marco Polo Activity. The basic version is based on the V-Class that can house up to four passengers. It has a little kitchen, wardrobe, swivel seats, bench and roof bed. The Marco Polo Activity is based on the Vito platform. This one allows sleeping options that can accommodate up to five people.
Compared to the other camper vans of Mercedes, the Marco Polo Horizon combines the high-quality design of the standard Marco Polo and the functionality of Marco Polo Activity models. The camper is highlighted by is seven-seating capacity with flexible configurations. The passenger seats can be adjusted to allow five people have a comfortable sleep too.
The Marco Polo Horizon is offered in a limited edition “Designo hyacinth red metallic” finish. The quality of the paint is similar to the ones found in the C-Class and E-Class Mercedes cars. An optional Night Package is available as well for buyers who want their vans to get the black design highlights in the exterior of their autos. The AMG Line package can be bought also for the additional appeal of the vehicle.
On the other hand, the Marco Polo Horizon Edition is a sportier variant of the van. It features an Exterior Sports Package, metallic finish, tinted rear windows and a set of 17-inch alloy wheels. Then, it comes with the 7G-Tronic Plus automatic transmission system to allow smoother handling. Furthermore, it is equipped with a reverse camera, Active Parking Assist, Tempmatic air conditioning, and Audio 20 CD multimedia with touchpad controls in its infotainment system.
