Giancarlo Perlas January 18, 2017Brabus just released details about its new tuning package for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan. The famous German tuner provides the Mercedes E-Class new exterior elements, more refined interior, and a power boost.
Here are 3 reasons enumerated by Motor1.com why you should get the latest Brabus package for the Mercedes E-Class:
1. Exterior
Outside, the Mercedes E-Class gets new front lip spoiler, air intakes, boot lid spoiler, rear diffuser, quadruple exhaust tips, lowered front axle, and set of wheels. The set of custom wheels offered by Brabus for the car are available in sizes ranging from 18 to 21 inches. The wheels are wrapped in Yokohama, Continental or Pirelli tires.
2. Interior
Different customization options can be selected from the Brabus package for the Mercedes E-Class. The interior upgrades include leather and Alcantara upholsteries, stanless steel scuff plates, and lit Brabus logo in 64 colors.
3. Engine
The power boost given by Brabus for the Mercedes E-Class depends on the model of the unit. The D6 S kit for the 3.0-liter V6 of the E350d lifts the output of the car to 305 hp and 531 lb-ft of torque. The acceleration of the auto from zero to 62 mph is at 5.7 seconds while its top speed remains electronically-limited at 155 mph.
The D3 kit is partnered with the E220d. The E-Class receives a total of 219 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque from it. There is no mention about its sprint from zero to 62 mph but it is expected to be more than the stock E220d’s 7.3 seconds. The top speed of the vehicle is also probably the same as its unadulterated unit.
The B20 plug and play module is for the E200. The unit takes the output of the 2.0-liter petrol-fed engine of the E-Class to 221 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque.
