G-Power, known for its 30 years of experience in tuning BMW and AMG vehicles, just unveiled its new package for the Mercedes-AMG G63. The kit includes a power boost and new set of wheels for the iconic G-Class SUV.

According to a report, the main feature of the G-Power package for the performance-level G-Class is the boost in the engine department. The tuner retained the hand-crafted AMG 5.5-liter biturbo V8 engine of the auto. However, by installing a Bi-Tronik 5 V1 power module to the AMG G63, G-Power added 74 hp into it plus 103 lb-ft of torque. Therefore, the resulting output of the vehicle is raised to a total of 645 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque.

The upgrade allows the AMG G63 to sprint from zero to 62 mph in just 5.3 seconds. The time is 0.1 second quicker than the original zero to 62 mph acceleration of the auto. On the other hand, the top speed of the SUV goes up to the 155 mph mark.

The original styling in the exterior and interior of the AMG G-Class remains, except for the wheels. G-Power replaced the 20-inch wheels of the AMG G63 with 23-inch Hurricane RR forged alloy set.

For customers interested with the G-Power tuning package for the Mercedes-AMG G63, the overall program costs €14,187. The wheels are priced at €8,391 while the Bi-Tronik module for the engine amounts to €5,796.
