Listen to the Sound of the Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe
Giancarlo Perlas June 21, 2016The Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe is the newest performance variant of the C-Class range. It features dynamic driving coupled with a good engine noise.
The Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe model takes its roots from the Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG Sport line. Early this year, Mercedes revealed that it will no longer maintain the AMG Sport segment.
The short-lived lineup formerly bridged the gap between Mercedes-Benz models and the full-badge Mercedes-AMG versions. However, for the sake of streamlining its offerings or to prevent confusion, as some have said, all the models belonging to the AMG Sport line were absorbed by the Mercedes-AMG branding.
The SLC was the first to ditch its AMG Sport variants. Instead of introducing the SLC 450 AMG Sport early this year, Mercedes launched the successor of the convertible as the Mercedes-AMG SLC 43. Then the trend went on until the coming of the C43 Coupe.
The C43 Coupe houses a 3.0-liter biturbo V6 engine. According to Mercedes, it can produce up to 362 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque distributed through a 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission with double-declutching mode. The resulting zero to 60 mph sprint of the car is 4.6 seconds. Moreover, the C43 can build up an electronically-limited speed of 155 mph.
The video you are about to watch below just speaks that what the V6 engine of the car is capable of. You might want to crank up that volume to really appreciate the sweet crackling sound coming from the tailpipes of the C43.
