Designers at Mercedes-Benz not limited themselves to working on enhancing the design of luxury cars as they worked on other vehicles under the Mercedes-Benz Style brand since 2010. The latest creation of the label is the H145 Mercedes-Benz Style helicopter, as shown on a report from gtspirit.com,
The luxury vehicle manufacturer collaborated with Airbus Helicopters to create the H145, which was previously promoted under the name Eurocopter EC145. The helicopter was initially unveiled in 2002 and has been used by numerous business, government and military clients across the glove. It is also interesting to note that the Eurocopter itself was the product of a merger between Aerospatiale and the Daimler-Benz Aerospace helicopter division in the 90’s.
The Airbus Helicopters H145 is a utility helicopter featuring two engines and is available in a number of versions depending on its purpose. It is can be used as an emergency and rescue services helicopter, police helicopter, business helicopter and a military battlefield helicopter. The H145 Mercedes-Benz Style helicopter is mainly designed for private and business clients looking to acquire a lavish-looking helicopter.
The H145 Mercedes-Benz Style helicopter features a pair of Turbomeca Arriel 2E engines offering a 900 HP power output. Its maximum range is at around 640 kilometers and has a cruising speed of 240 km/h. The empty weight of the Mercedes-Style helicopter is 2,449 kilograms, which is heavier compared to the standard version of the H145. It is also capable of carrying eight passengers, two pilots and baggage with its 1,250 loading capacity. The maximum load limit of the helicopter is at 3,700 kilograms.

Körfez Aviation of Turkey received the delivery of the first two units of these luxury helicopters from Mercedes-Benz Style and Airbus Helicopters. The two units were added into the fleet of the company for private and business charter service within Turkey. A total of fourteen units of H145 Mercedes-Benz Style helicopters were already ordered so far, each with a price tag of around seven million Euros.
