Drifting With Lewis Hamilton On A Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG
Peter Parcon July 13, 2015It seems the driving skills of Lewis Hamilton is not only limited to the racetrack after he put the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG for a spin . . . literally, as shown on a report from autoevolution.com. The Formula One driver drifted and made donuts at the Brooklands motor racing circuit as the members of his team watched from the sidelines in Weybridge recently.
Hamilton took some time off from the racetrack and worked on the E63 AMG at Weybridge, which can be considered his second home. Weybridge is the location of Mercedes-Benz World where five courses are ready for use by the ace F1 driver. The courses also serve as the venue for aspiring professional drivers to practice their driving skills. The location is also where the best products offered by AMG are tested.
But, when Lewis Hamilton comes “home” everyone takes a step back and lets the F1 ace do his thing on the course. This is quite understandable since Hamilton has more victories on the racetrack than any other British drivers in Formula One history. His thirty-seven victories also put him in fifth place in the all-time list of F1 winners.
In the video, some members of the team of Hamilton joined him in the E63 AMG as he takes the sports sedan out for a spin. While the entire exercise may have been fun and games for Hamilton, his passengers may not have felt the same way. Whatever the case may be, any true-blue racing enthusiasts would want do nearly anything just to switch places with the members of Hamilton’s team to be on the passenger seat as the F1 champ took the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG out for a spin.
