Depreciation Makes Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG An Appealing Option
Peter Parcon June 30, 2015Older two-door luxury cars have always been popular the more among passionate car enthusiasts. This is mainly due to the fact that they are both stylish and luxurious. In addition, these vehicles cost a fraction of the original retail price. A video posted online showed a slightly-modified Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG that is way better compared to a number of the latest models in terms of its price, as shown on a report from carscoops.com.
This particular SL55 AMG is capable of producing 600 HP of power, which is higher than the power output of an unmodified model. While the older SL55 AMG may lack the technological features of newer models, it does offer better comfort and performance for the driver of the vehicle. The estimated price tag of an older model of the SL55 AMG is around $22,400.
Even though the SL55 AMG initially came out in the market in the 90’s, its interior and exterior design can still be considered contemporary. This makes the SL55 AMG quite appealing to the most fervent luxury car enthusiast.
The video posted online was a review made by Matt Farah for TST, and apparently he has developed a penchant for the Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG despite its sluggish gearbox and out-of-date entertainment system.
