ADV1 Wheels Seen On A Mercedes-AMG GT S
Peter Parcon May 24, 2015The Mercedes-AMG GT S is considered as among the best luxury supercars in the market today. Despite its lofty status, it still has a little bit of room for improvement, and this improvement comes in the way of a set of aftermarket wheels, as shown on a report from motorward.com.
Wheels Boutique provided the GT S Edition 1 with a brand-new set of ADV5.2 Track Spec CS rims measuring 20 by 9.5 inches in front and 21 by 12 inches at the rear. The new rims were clad in 265/30/20 Pirelli tires in front and 325/25/21 Pirelli tires at the back. The new wheels had a matte bronze finish to allow it to contrast with the dominant color theme of the luxury sports car.
Since the Mercedes-AMG GT S was an Edition 1 model, it featured a factory-fit body kit that consisted of a prominent front spoiler, rear spoiler and side skirts. The gloss black detailing and numerous special features found in the interior also enhanced the overall look of the GT S. The more prominent feature inside its cabin was its distinctive “Edition 1” plaque.
The 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine of the AMG GT is capable of producing 510 HP of power, which is directed into the rear wheel using a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission system. For potential owners who are aiming to increase the power output of the Mercedes-AMG GT S, a software upgrade kit is already available in the market that can increase its power output to 590 HP.
