Mercedes-Benz normally reserves the names “Night” and ”Star” for limited edition vehicles set to be marketed in the market in the Far East. However, it appears that the luxury vehicle manufacturer from Germany has made an exception with the Mercedes-Benz G550 Night Star Edition, which is set to be released into the United States, as indicated on a report from motorward.com. Production of the G550 Night Star Edition is limited to only 100 units.
There are a number of luxury vehicle enthusiasts who are eager to pay more to purchase the high-performance version of the G-Wagen, the G63 AMG. Due to this, some industry watchers may assume that the G550 Night Star Edition may not have been a good product of Mercedes-Benz. However, the German luxury vehicle manufacturer is aware that there are also a number of people who are more concerned with the looks rather than the performance of a vehicle. This is the market that the company is aiming for with the Mercedes-Benz G550 Night Star Edition, which underwent enhancements on its interior and exterior.
The enhancements on the G550 Night Star are quite impressive. The exterior of the limited edition luxury SUV feature a two-tone paint scheme, combining Designo Black with Mystic White. Complementing this notable paint job is a brand-new set of eighteen-inch gloss black wheels. The front guard of the luxury vehicle was also customized. It also comes with a while-colored spare wheel cover.
The interior of the G550 Night Star is as equally remarkable as the exterior with its Porcelain nappa leather with red stitching, highlighted by Designo black Dinamica leather. It also features a special edition plaque showing its number among the 100 units that will be produced, drawing attention to its lofty status. The Mercedes-Benz G550 Night Star Edition has a price of $130,000.
