Japan is once again the country that will get a limited-edition Mercedes. Recently, the German automaker announced that it will launch its S550 Premium Sports Edition in the country.

According to the company, only 200 units of the Mercedes S550 Premium Sports Edition will be made and exclusively offered in Japan. The pricing of each unit starts at ¥18,100,000 or approximately $168,755 based from the conversion tool of Google.

What makes the Premium Sports Edition different from the standard long-wheelbase S550 are its special AMG sport package and 20-inch alloy wheels. The exterior finish of the car can either be in obsidian black or white diamond depending on the preference of its buyer. It should be noted that the mentioned paint jobs would only be available exclusively for the Premium Sports Edition version of the S550 too.

The vehicle would benefit from the three-pointed star brand’s chauffeur package as well. he chauffeur package includes a heating system for the seats and arm rests plus executive rear seats and rear passenger infotainment system, among others.

Nothing was said about the engine configuration of the limited-variant of the S550. So, it would likely retain the output present in its standard model.

The limited Mercedes S500 Premium Sports Edition will be put on sale next month.Unless you are in Japan, you will surely be missing the goodies offered by this splendid car.
