Early this month at the Paris Motor Show, the Mercedes-AMG C63 sedan was unveiled. Now, the question remains in everyone’s mind about the future of the existing Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG coupe.

It is just reasonable to assume that the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG coupe might reach its final production stage after the release of the new C-Class AMG variant. However, Car and Driver claimed the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG will be manufactured by the German automaker until the spring of 2015.

According to other automotive websites, the Mercedes-AMG C63 will only be offered in its sedan form. Thus, there is a slight possibility that the production life of the current coupe version of the car might be extended.

Based from a news from Autoblog the three-pointed star brand seems to be borrowing a page from the strategy book of Cadillac. It should be noted that the mentioned automaker had successfully made its CTS-V coupe and CTS sedan co-exist with each other.

But then again, knowing the aggressive push of Mercedes-Benz in the luxury car market, it might not be long until a coupe model of the Mercedes-AMG C63 is spied or officially announced. Once we get a word of the said car, that would be an indication that the existing Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG coupe will be retiring to give way for its successor.

Despite the love we have for the present Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG coupe, we are hoping that the tuning division of Mercedes will release a coupe version of the Mercedes-AMG C63 soon.
