MEC Design Enhances Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG
Peter Parcon October 3, 2014MEC Design released an upgrade program for the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, according to a recent report from motorward.com.
Although the enhancements made by the tuning specialist from Germany are considered light, it enhanced the appeal of the E63 in the market. The enhancements gave the redesigned executive-class sedan a sporty appearance due to its restyled exterior and new wheels.
The tuning program provided by MEC Design concentrated on three major areas, wheels, suspension, and exhaust system. However, it should be noted that the E63 AMG is already perfect in these major areas. The luxury vehicle features a 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, stylish body and deluxe interiors.
To enhance the executive appearance of the E63 AMG, MEC Design provided the luxury vehicle with a new set of meCCon Series Type CCd5 wheels. The size of the front wheels is 9×20 while the rear wheels are at 10.5×20. The tires on the front and rear wheels are sized at 255 and 295 respectively. However, the new set of wheels is further enhanced with the lowering module provided by the German tuning specialist, which considerably reduced its ride height.
MEC Design also provided the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG with a stainless-steel exhaust system featuring a rear muffler with silencer. The exhaust system offers two sound modes, Apocalypse and Earthquake. Although the standard exhaust system of the E63 is already notable, the system provided by MEC Design is considered remarkable.
The E63 AMG tuned by MEC Design features a black matte film hood along with a number of labels on the body. The Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG was also given a black roof, black mirror housings, two-color grille, tinted glass and aerodynamic body kit components by MEC Design.
