Misha Design Previews Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Aftermarket Body Kit
Peter Parcon September 6, 2014Despite its pending replacement by the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT, which is set to be unveiled on September 9, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is still the subject of a number of aftermarket body kits by numerous tuning companies around the world. Misha Designs released the preview of its aftermarket body kit for the SLS AMG, according to a report from worldcarfans.com. The aftermarket body kit offered by Misha Designs is a fitting tribute to the upcoming retirement of the SLS AMG.
The preview shows that the Los Angeles-based tuning company appears to draw its inspiration for the body kit from the SLS AMG Black Series. The aftermarket body kit boosts the aggressive appearance of the sports car from the German luxury vehicle manufacturer.
The design of the aftermarket body kit facilitates its installation into the stock mounting points of the vehicle without any other changes.
Misha Design drew inspirations from the Black Series model as it provided the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG with a brand-new bumper featuring restyled air intakes, redesigned hood and new carbon fiber side skirts. The luxury sports car also features notable air intake surrounds and a carbon fiber front splitter. Carbon fiber sills were also installed into the body kit together with prominent grilles along the front wheels of the luxury vehicle.
The tuning specialist from Los Angeles has also prepared a pair of rear spoilers that owners of the luxury sports car can install into their vehicle. It also features a hood insert, carbon finish for the A-pillar, and brand-new side vents. A brand-new bumper was also added by Misha Designs on the SLS AMG together with an aggressive diffuser.
The aftermarket body kit for the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG can be ordered as a complete kit or individual components, and customers can expect deliveries to start by October.
