We are still waiting for the official launching of the Mercedes AMG GT, but it appears there’s more to the plate of its maker. Aside from the two engine options available for the car, which would debut soon, a Black Series model seems to be in the works too.

Recently, TouriClips released a video via YouTube of the Mercedes AMG GT, which we featured earlier. However, there were some noticeable upgrades on the spied car.

Let us revisit video clip below and see for yourself:

The source claimed that the video shows a Black Series being tested. We cannot confirm for sure if the vehicle in the video is indeed the Black Series variant, but the aerodynamic body package that was fitted with it appears to look similar with what the C63 AMG Black Series Coupe has.

A close-up spy photo released by WorldCarFans shows a fixed rear wing, modified front bumper, and a lowered sports suspension that would further support speculations that we might be looking at the super sports variant of the new car.

Check out the gallery below, which shows new updates with the Mercedes AMG GT:

According to WCF, the Mercedes AMG GT Black Series would likely be equipped with a V8 engine. Its output may be somewhere around 503 hp with 479 lb-ft of torque. The power would take the car from zero to 60 mph in less than 3.9 seconds, and its peak speed would be approximately 194 mph.
