A new set of spy photos of the facelifted Mercedes-Benz ML Class made their way to the Internet again, thanks to MBWorld. The updated vehicle came with less camouflage this time, showing its bare armor in the rear, sides and hood.

The front grille and bumper were still wrapped in the usual white and black zebra camo. However, it no longer hid the outlines of the covered parts.

The Visible Upgrades

The headlights were very visible, which displayed an upgrade in styling. It is not clear though if these would be benefiting from the advanced lighting system of Mercedes, or if the brand would at least offer an option for buyers to integrate the new technology in their ML.

Going to the hood and sides, the upcoming version of the Mercedes ML Class appeared to have smoother character lines. The German automaker softened up the look of the vehicle’s rear wheel arch too. As for the rear, it looked like there were no significant changes in its design.

Possible Specs and Other Models of the Vehicle

The source theorized that the ML400 might come with a biturbo 3.0-liter V6 engine, basing from its powertrain. It added that we should expect some upgrades on the existing powertrains as well.

The report also claimed that Mercedes might offer a hybrid model of the next ML. This is due to the high demand for more fuel-efficient vehicles in the market nowadays.
