About Driveclub for PS4

Driveclub for PS4 is developed by Evolution Studios. It is exclusive for the Playstation 4 platform. The game will be published by Sony Computer Entertainment.

Driveclub for PS4 was announced February last year during a PS4 press conference. The racing game was initially planned for a summer release but it was eventually pushed back for October.

Yoshida stated that they initially planned for an early 2014 release of Driveclub. However, he said that their “ambitious promise of creating a truly innovative, socially connected racing game” has made them encounter a lot of challenges along the way. He promised that the game will deliver features that have never been achieved in the racing game category.

Paul “Rushy” Rustchynsky, is currently the Game Director of Driveclub for PS4. He was responsible for leading the development of the successful PS3 racing game MotorStorm: RC, and he had a key contribution in other major titles of Evolution Studios since 2004.

Unlike MotorStorm: RC for PS3, Driveclub for PS4 focuses on road racing rather than off-road.
