2015 Mercedes S500 Coupe and S63 AMG Coupe Caught in a Spy Video
Giancarlo Perlas April 2, 2014Last Thursday, a couple of S-Class Coupes were caught on video at the Nurburgring track. One is the 2015 Mercedes S500 Coupe, and the camouflaged car is claimed to be the much-anticipated S63 AMG Coupe.
Check out this video posted on YouTube by TouriClips for a look at the two magnificent S-Class Coupes:
We have seen some spy shots recently of the Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe in its non-camo version on the streets of Stuttgart, and one can say that it is truly a beautiful car. This video is an indication that it is not just about looks.
However, the video seems to show a camouflaged one, which means we are probably looking at a clip earlier than the S63 AMG Coupe pictures we posted.
According to the source, the exact date when the clip was taken is March 27, 2014. The video shows the two cars being punished hard in the unforgiving tracks of Nurburgring. This is a part of the series of tests conducted by Daimler engineers to study the cars’ stress levels, as well as their limitations.
While we all know that these two autos are not really meant to do the rubber-burning stuff showed in the video, it is quite amazing to see how they perform well in curves and hear how their engines sound when pushed to the limit.
Surely, this is a display of how far the two S-Class Coupes can go in terms of performance. This is indeed a strong demonstration of the S-Class Coupe and its AMG counterpart at their best.
