A-Class TV Spot Showcase
Ryan Joseph Ramos September 25, 2012Performance, Pulse, Parking—those are the three TV spots for the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class, each highlighting a different aspect of the vehicle.
The “Performance” spot, easily our favorite here at BenzInsider, highlights the COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST feature of the vehicle. It stars Nico Rosberg of the Mercedes F1 team, as he takes the A-Class for a ride while dodging and avoiding obstacles thrown at him by a guy that resembles a crash test dummy.
As for the “Parking” spot, we see a woman driving the A-Class and coming to a sudden stop to park, then she sprays an outline around the vehicle. This clip highlights the 10 sensors mounted on the vehicle that helps identify suitable parking spaces and also acts as a complement to the active steering for more efficient parking.
The “Pulse” spot presents more of an overview for the viewers, showing that the car is capable of performing and looking like a Mercedes-Benz car should.
Interestingly, all of these TV spots feature dubstep songs like Guardians at the Gate by Audiomachine and Y-Shape by Damien Damien.
