Mercedes-Benz Got Seven Best Commercial Vehicles Award, Won Best Brands in 2012 Poll

Last night in Stuttgart, Mercedes won got seven awards, five for its vehicles and two for its services.
The Sprinter vans won the “vans up to 3.5t” category, the Actros for the “long haul truck” and “dump tucks up to 32t” category, “urban regular-service buses” was bagged by the Citaro and the Tourino was awarded the best in “midibuses” category. The service of “rental/leasing” was also given to Mercedes-Benz Charterway and Truckworks was awarded the “truck/trailer” category.
Andreas Renschler, the Board of Management responsible for Daimler Trucks and Daimler Buses said proudly, “We are delighted about the seven awards and want to thank all the readers. This once more proves that our product line-up puts us in a perfect position.”
The awards are given annually and winners are based on who got the most vote per category. This year over 8,000 readers of magazines from ETM Publishing voted. Dekra engineers also helped out in choosing the best brands 2012 and best commercial vehicles.
