Emmanuel P October 22, 2011Despite being on the verge of being replaced, tuners continue to craft upgrades for the long-live SL-Class R230. The latest of these tuners to do so is Wald, which, in its typical fashion, has come up with a wild-looking kit for the Mercedes SL.
Marketing it as an aerodynamic upgrade, Japanese tuner Wald has installed a replacement front bumper for a more aggressive look, new side skirts and a wide body kit consisting of front fender arches and rear arch extensions that are tied in by the skirts. To complement this body kit, Wald has fitted Renovatio R12 wheels sized 9×20 inches at the front and 11×20 at the rear.
