Just as we finished publishing an article on the technological lineaments of Mercedes cars, fresh news trickles in to further justify the published post. The 3.0-litre turbodiesel V6 featured in the Mercedes E320 CDI has been chosen as one of the best engines in the United States. Ward’s Auto World had looked closely at a lot of other strong contenders and the winners list include Toyota’s 3.5-litre V6 from the Lexus IS 350 and Ford’s 4.6-litre V8 from the Mustang Shelby GT/Bullitt.
