Ron Dennis has sold more than half of its McLaren shares to the ‘Bahrain Mumtalak Holdin Company’ owned by the Bahrain Kingdom. The holding company has become the second largest share holder after DaimlerChrysler. This occurrence ends the rumors that DCX was trying to buy out the McLaren company. Along with Dennis, Saudi Mansour Ojeh also sold half of its share, leaving him with only a 15 percent stake.
The financial numbers are not known so far, but some say that it could be more than $300 million.
