Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series Upgraded by Inden Design
Giancarlo Perlas August 15, 2017The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG already had its last hurrah in the production line. Despite having been replaced by the Mercedes-AMG GT, it remains one of the gems of Mercedes’ performance division. Just when we thought that no one is tinkering with this now-limited sports car model anymore, Inden Design recently unveiled their latest project involving the auto.
According to Motor1, the Black Series variant of the car was used for the project. The shop dubbed it as the “world’s most advanced SLS AMG.”
Inden Design stripped the car of its shell and its essential components. The auto was basically disassembled down to the frame. Then the armor of the vehicle underwent a total refinishing and its underbody was given an “ice blast” treatment, which coated its components in durable plastic laminate. After that, it was put back together again, looking better than ever.
The power core of the SLS AMG Black Series, which was a 6.2-liter V8, was given a 64 hp boost. The MKB tune brought the overall output of the auto to 635 hp. The performance increase was complemented by a new set of KW suspension coils, stainless steel exhaust, and special, gloss black finish, BBS-F1 rims.
The pricing of the package was not disclosed by the tuner. We definitely don’t expect it to come cheap though.
