Mercedes-Benz Now Selling Classic Cars Directly to Customers
Giancarlo Perlas November 8, 2015Have you ever dreamed of having a classic Mercedes-Benz car? For those who are looking to buy the vintage units of the brand, Daimler announced on November 5 that the Mercedes-Benz Museum has opened its doors to collectors.
All the classic cars of the three-pointed star marque belonging from all periods in its colorful history are now on sale. Interested buyers can visit the museum of the company and arrange their transactions there. The selection can also be viewed at the website set up by Mercedes at alltime-stars.com.
The oldest vehicle on sale and the rarest among the choices is the Mercedes-Benz 630. The car was introduced in the market in October 1928 for 2,000 reichsmark. The model is highlighted by its K variant, which is equipped with a 6.3-liter engine capable of producing up to 160 hp.
The specialists in Mercedes converted the vehicle into an open-top tourer. Then its engine was restored into full-working condition. As a proof of its high-level of quality, it comes with a Fiva international ID.
Other highlights include the Mercedes-Benz E 320 convertible with only 31,000 miles in its clock, and the Mercedes-Benz 280 SE with only 86,000 kilometers in its clock.
The classic cars being sold are available in three categories. These are the Premium Edition, Collectors Edition, and Drivers Edition.
The Premium Edition is offered almost its purest form with only a few miles in its clock. The Collectors Edition is in excellent condition both technically and visually. Lastly, the Drivers Edition encompasses the vintage cars and modern classics of the brand, which are intended for everyday driving and for people who want to handle most of the restoration work themselves.
